Rumsey Consulting is partnering with the Kwanlin Dün First Nation (KDFN) to develop a community-driven home buyers assistance program that removes financial barriers and supports KDFN Citizens to achieve homeownership.

Rumsey Consulting is proud to be leading the development of the Coordinated Process for addressing and preventing high-risk intimate partner violence for the Yukon Government. This critical initiative will support a more collaborative and effective approach to identifying, intervening, and providing ongoing support for individuals at high risk.

Rumsey Consulting is leading the evaluation of Brain Injury Canada's pilot project aimed at improving education and awareness among BC Corrections staff to better support individuals in their care with brain injuries.

Rumsey Consulting is providing  project management support for the Yukon First Nations Wildfire (YFNW) Indigenous Community Wildfire Risk Assessment project. This initiative focuses on assessing wildfire risks in Indigenous communities across  the Yukon, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing strategies to enhance community capacity for wildfire preparedness and resilience. 

Rumsey Consulting was contracted by the Safe at Home Society to lead the development and implementation of HIFIS among key housing and homelessness service providers in the Yukon. This project involved creating a tailored HIFIS framework and supporting service providers to achieve effective data integration, improved client support, and alignment with national homelessness initiatives.

Rumsey Consulting in partnership with J Consulting Group, conducted a comprehensive Recreation Needs Assessment for Persons with Disabilities, ensuring that recreational facilities and programs are accessible and inclusive for all community members. 

In partnership with J Consulting Group, Rumsey Consulting supported the community of Fogo Island, Newfoundland gain a comprehensive understanding of the unique and diverse housing needs for a brighter future and affordable housing solutions for all residents. 

Rumsey Consulting is proud to support Da Daghay Development Corporation's vision of Winter Crossing—a transformative 105- affordable housing project for Whitehorse, setting a new benchmark as the city's largest affordable multi-residential development to date.

 In close collaboration with Westropp Management Consulting, Rumsey Consulting led in-depth research, policy analysis, and citizen engagement, culminating in the creation of a comprehensive LSCFN Housing Policy and Indigenous-led approach to housing management and administration.

Rumsey Consulting, in partnership with New Territory Consulting, was contracted by the Government of Yukon to facilitate engagement with Yukon First Nations, health and legal service providers, and community members in 13  rural Yukon communities as part of the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) expansion project.

Rumsey Consulting was engaged by Safe at Home Society to facilitate strategic discussions with government partners on desired next steps to revising the City of Whitehorse's action plan to end and prevent homelessness. 

In partnership with Vink Consulting, Rumsey Consulting conducted stakeholder engagement with Yukon service network providers, persons with disabilities, and employers  to better understand how participants have gained employment skills and improved self-sufficiency.

Rumsey Consulting conducted a program evaluation of IWSO's Crisis and Intervention Counselling Program to determine program gaps and opportunities to improve services for immigrant and racialized women experiencing gender-based violence.

In association with J Consulting Group, Rumsey Consulting conducted a benchmarking and best practice review in age-friendly planning and prepared a current state analysis report to inform the broader community strategy.

Rumsey Consulting  was engaged by the Safe at Home Society Yukon to evaluate the effectiveness of Coordinated Access in Whitehorse, and to develop key considerations for expanding the model to smaller, more rural and Indigenous communities in the Yukon. 

In partnership with J Consulting Group and Vink Consulting, Rumsey Consulting completed a literature review and environmental scan, and developed operating standards and guiding principles for housing and homelessness service providers in the county.

As part of the review, Rumsey Consulting facilitated community engagement with service providers and physicians working with people who use drugs to better understand system strengths and gaps, and to inform future directions on opioid treatments in the Yukon.
